FSI Championship
AGE GROUP:
Boys
⚽️ Under 16 (for those born between 01.01.2000 to 31.12.2001)
⚽️ Under 20 (for those born between 01.01.1996 to 31.12.1999)
Open
⚽️ Under 14 (for those born between 01.01.2002 to 31.12.2003)
Co-Ed
⚽️ Under 12 (for those born between 01.01.2004 to 31.12.2005)
⚽️ Under 10 (for those born between 01.01.2006 to 31.12.2007)
⚽️ Under 8 (for those born between 01.01.2008 to 31.12.2009)
Girls
⚽️ Under 16 (for those born between 01.01.2000 to 31.12.2001)
FORMAT:
⚽️ Only 32 teams in each of the above category will be permitted to participate on a First Come First Serve basis and will play each other in a Round Robin format.
TEAM COMPOSITION:
⚽️ A team will comprise of 8 (5+3) players and should be ready to play 2 or more matches on any given day.
GOAL SIZE:
⚽️ For U8 – U10, the goal size will be 6ft 6in (Height) x 9ft 10in (Width)
⚽️ For U12- Open, the goal size will be 6ft 6in (Height) x 9ft 10in (Width)
RULES OF PLAY:
A team will comprise of 8 (5+3) players and should be ready to play 2 or more matches on any given day.
FSI Championship will follow FIFA rules with the following exceptions:
⚽️ Pitch Size:
For U8 – U10, the pitch will be 98 ft x 65 ft
For U12- Open, the pitch will be 98 ft x 65 ft
⚽️ Duration of Matches and Ball Size:
For (U8 – U10) – 12 mins (6 mins each half) – Ball Size 3
For (U12 – 14 – 16) – 14mins (7 mins each half) – Ball Size 4, Ball Size 5 for U16
For (U20 – Open) – 16 mins (8 mins each half) – Ball Size 5
⚽️ Rolling Substitution:
A team can make as many substitutions as they want; the player who is substituted is allowed to get back on the pitch if the coach wishes. FSI Championship encourages teams making substitution with the aim that all team members get equal playing time
⚽️ Exception to Offside Rules:
There will be no offside rules
⚽️ Points Table and Final Standings:
Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Team with the highest point from each age will qualify for quarter finals.
